Domestic to Domestic

The three steps of transit – A guideline for transferring passengers

1. Flight Arrival

Upon entering the terminal, transferring passengers can refer to the signageinside the terminal to guide them to the waiting hall. In case of any formalities that need to be taken care of before proceeding with your journey, please first make your way to the airport’s transfer counters.

2. Application for Transit

Passengers withboarding pass:

Please refer to the Flight Information Systems or check with the staff at the helpdesk for information on your connecting flight and gate, then make your way to the corresponding waiting area.

Passengers without boarding pass:

Please follow thetransfer passengers’ information signs toproceed to the transit counter on the second floor, where staff members will assist you with all transit formalities.

Transfer passengers travelling with China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Shanghai Airlines or China United Airlines, please go to Terminal 3 to have your transit formalities processed.

For transfer passengers of all other airlines, transit formalities will be processed in Terminal 2.

3. Waiting and Boarding

Passengers please proceed to the gate as indicated on their boarding pass, and wait for boarding in the corresponding waiting area.

Tips:

1. To ensure a smooth and hassle-free transit experience, passengers are kindly recommended to book and pay for their connecting flight in advance. When arranging your travels, please allow at least two hours for transfer procedures.

2. In case passengers holding an e-ticket should require a receipt for reimbursement, they are kindly asked to contact the respective airline for help.

3. If for any reason transit cannot be completed as planned, transferring passengers are required to first claim their baggage in the baggage claim area, then follow the standard domestic departure procedures: checkin baggage - receive boarding pass -pass security control - wait and board.

Domestic to International

1. Flight Arrival

Upon entering the terminal, transferring passengers can refer to the signage inside the terminal to guide them to the baggage claim area, located on the ground floor.

2. Baggage Claim

For information on the specific belt your luggage can be collected at, please refer to the monitors installed in various locations throughout the arrival area.

3. Application for Transit

After having reclaimed their luggage, passengers transferring to an international flight please make their way to the Terminal 2 departure level and to the international transfer counter. Once all transfer formalities have been successfully taken care of, travelers may advance to the international departure area for check-in procedures.
